A Smorgasbord of Recommendations
From children's books full of miniature puppets to essays about archiving! Let's GOOOOO
WHATโS UP!!!! WELCOME TO MY FIRST NEWSLETTER FOR PAID SUBSCRIBERS! ๐ฑ๐ผ๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐๐!
Iโve always felt like writing for my audience on Substack was warm and cozy and safe- but writing to an even smaller group of you feels excellent! Itโs book club, sitting in a circle in English class for a socratic seminar vibes (shoutout to my high school English teacher Tonya who is literally a newsletter VIP. Keeping the vibes correct!).
My truth is as such: I have, luckily, had a January full of fun, paid work, which is a major gift considering that work wasโฆscarce for the second half of 2022. Iโm very grateful to be working, even if that means that I sent my January newsletters (1) and (2) days before February starts. Right under the wire! Because of said business, this first VIP newsletter (lol going to keep calling it that) is going to be chill- Iโm going to give you a thorough list of recommendations of things that have been inspiring me lately.
Next month, though, (February) Iโm planning to send you all some snail mail. So please do reply to this with a good mailing address. If I donโt hear from ya, Iโll reach out. :-) Also, please tell me if youโd rather not receive IRL mail and I wonโt bug you!
